The Running Moon Farm Studio

Welcome!
We will be open on Appointment only except for the 2nd Friday in the month and you may call at 337-328-7320.
On the 2nd Friday in the month we are open from 9 am until 3 pm.
Since we live on the farm and the Studio is located here on the farm we can nearly always accomodate you at a convienient time.
We have a working farm which keeps us busy, so if you don't get us at first please try again, or email

On the 2nd Friday of the month The Studio is open for classes. Charlene Quinilty will be in the Studio for Weaving Classes and we will also have Spinning Classes. Classes also enclude Fiber Preparation, Dyeing, Carding and many other Fiber related subjects. You are welcome to stop in for a beginning class at this time or to rent a loom and weave for the day! Looms are available for weekly rental in the studio for you to do your projects on if you desire. Please inquire for further information either by phone or email.

Here is the working entrance door to the Studio, come on in!

We have many fine products to interest you and to fill your needs. From Beautiful yarns, fibers and finished items to Fiber Artist tools. Products to help you enjoy your arts and make the things you would love to do!

Most of the items in the Studio can be found and purchased from our on-line catalog and we invite you to shop with us on-line.

Lots of tools, Collectables, New and Used Spinning Wheels, Cards, Ceramics, drop spindles and many other nice items

We teach weaving also and there are beautiful looms for you to learn on. You can learn and rent a loom to weave your project, or bring your own loom and learn on it. Two experienced Weaving Teachers are available, call for scheduling a class!

You can also learn to spin, and if you don't have a wheel already, we have some nice, beautiful wheels available for you to purchase, both new and used.

Weaving Room

We have several nice looms in the weaving room, LeClerc 45" Goblin 2-H, 45" 12-H Nilart, 45" 12-H Colonial Counter-March double beam; 2 36" 4-H Artistats, 24" 4-H Artistat; 36" 4-H Mira; 8ft Running Moon Farm Triangle Loom, Ashford Tapestry loom and a Navajo pipe loom. A good assortment for you to see and compare for you to see what would work best for you.The warping reel is a Running Moon Farm reel I have used for many years.

If you want to take a class for weaving, let me know and I will let you know the schedule. I will work with you to make it easy for you to work the hours that you have available to come to the studio, and also one that will fit my schedule. I rent the student looms out in the Studio and you can work on the loom until your project is finished. Classes are paid in advance and I do require a time frame for weaving projects. Yarn is available for your project at the studio.

The Kitchen

This is where I prepare the fleece for Washing and dyeing.

When we have workshops we use this area to put the food and gather at break times!

The Workroom

This is where we do the bead work and other things that require the tools, beads, stones and findings that we need.

The Workroom

The paint is for the wheels, and Ceramics.

There are 2 large closets with fiber too!

One Closet with raw fleece, and washed and or dyed whole fleeces

and one with prepared batts and roving

The Carding Room

This is also the room where the fleeces are carded into beautiful batts, & where I paint the wheels. I do my designing here, make labels etc.

Since I have added the Davis/Furber Carding Machine I have had to re-arrange the room for it. Its big and takes up the middle of the room

Please remember the studio is open by appointment. It's best to email first, or you can call at 337 328 7320. You can write to us at P.O. Box 546, Dry Creek, Louisiana 70637.
