Using Your Carding Board

Begin by grasping the carding board by the top bar and combing the fiber downward with the flick card in smooth strokes. Comb the fiber downward in smooth strokes.
The fiber becomes smooth and organized. The fiber should become smooth and organized in straight lines as you comb the fiber.
Begin to comb the fiber upward in a smooth, firm stroke, being careful not to destroy the integrity of the fibers. Comb upwards with a smooth, firm stroke.

Continue combing until all fibers are moved to the top of the board.
