Lloyd handcrafts tools with wood grown here at Running Moon Farm or purchased locally in Southwestern Louisianna. Several wood varieties are available, depending on what's dry in the woodshed. It takes a year for the wood to cure, so not all types may be available at all times. The woods used include Cherry, Redbud, Plum, Cedar, Loquat, Mulberry, Dogwood, Locust, Maple, Chestnut, Oak, Cypress, and Pecan.

There may also be other woods available from time to time, including spaulded and wormwoods for collectors.
