Lloyd handcrafts tools with wood grown here at Running Moon Farm or purchased locally in Southwestern Louisiana. Several wood varieties are available, depending on what's dry in the woodshed. It takes a year for the wood to cure, so not all types may be available at all times. The woods used include Cherry, Redbud, Plum, Cedar, Loquat, Mulberry, Dogwood, Locust, Maple, Chestnut, Oak, Cypress, and Pecan. From time to time we will aquire exotic woods and you will also find them listed in the catalog at catalog .

We have found that we like to use many different woods, so we are constantly seeking new beautiful types that we can use. As we venture into different areas we hope to continue to bring beautiful products to our customers.

We try to keep as many of the different tools available as possible, but don't always manage to do so. If there is something special that you are interested in, please feel free to email us and ask.
